I definitely do. I'm about 70 lbs overweight (and that's after losing 35 lbs), and this is why I'm on the southbeach diet.

3 1/2 years ago I celebrated at Weight Watchers a 52 lb weight loss. I felt SO good about myself, but i was SICK and TIRED of weight watchers. So, I quit and put 15 or so pounds back on RIGHT AWAY. Like within a month. So, I started back up to weight watchers, but I couldn't get with it. So here I am...I gained back all but 2 lbs of that weight. Now, I've lost 35 again doing the southbeach diet. However, this diet is supposed to take the weight off quickly and I started it back in February. I only really became serious about it in June when I realized how quickly my birthday was approaching (that was my goal to have my weight gone by my dreaded b-day). I've take a couple weeks of from June 18th until now, but since June 18th I've lost about 27 lbs. I can't tell by looking at myself but others have noticed and I can tell because my clothes fit a LOT better now. I was actually able to fit into 2 pairs of capris pants this summer that I haven't been able to wear in 3 years. Last summer I couldn't even get them up over my butt (and I don't even have a butt) and this summer I got them up, buttoned, zipped AND I COULD STILL BREATHE!!!

Tomorrow is my 1st day off in 12 days and I told my husband I'm eating junk from the time I wake up until I go to bed. But Monday, it's back on the diet for another 12 days.
Once I get my weight off, I plan to do Southbeach M-F and then take weekends off. My weight is a life long battle.

I would be happy if I could get to my pre France weight.

The only diet that worked for me was moving to France, all the walking and such.

I also need to start watching exactly HOW much I eat. . .

Well, I used to jog 3 miles on my treadmill EVERY DAY!!!! I never skipped.

I haven't been on my treadmill now in months. So Madd told me the other day that he admired me for my dedication back then. So, he inspired me to get back on it. So I'll start again on Monday, but will probably only do it three times a week. (and I'm sure these tired legs won't be taking me 3 miles either)

I used to work out EVERY day, for about 20 minutes, eventually I got up to 30 minutes, and I didn't lose a pound, none of my clothes fit differently.

oh that's very discouraging.
Part of the reason I jogged on my treadmill is because suddenly both of my parents became heart patients. My mom had her triple by-pass in Dec of 2000 (very scarey it was emergency and she almost died...still can't believe she didn't. But I don't know why...God is in control and obviously not done with her life on Earth yet) and then Dad had it in Oct the following year.
So, that means I'm screwed.

I just get so tired that I don't even WANT to clean, at least I have a dishwasher now!

Oh if I didn't have a dishwasher, we would use plastic utensils and paper plates.

LOL! I can't do that, cause of wasting stuff and such.
