I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, but in regards to the trouble you are having with your Qwest service, here is information that should answer your questions asked to me.

Unfortunately, there are no longer "queue" when it comes to a center. We have moved to an Avaya phone system, and with that, I do not believe we have a number that would get to a certain center. I also am not sure of the Des Moines center hours. I know normal customer service is open from 8-6, and I am not sure if any of the centers are open later to accommodate for 6 Western time (8 CST).

The billing department has been a mess since you left. After you left, our stock eventually dropped even further, and all of this is a reason that the billing department is now so shotty. :)

I hope I answered your questions to your liking.

Thanks for choosing... me!

ah.... shoddy billing center (sales freaks). it is truly horrific. i agree in that it was pretty horrible when i was there, and now as just a customer i dread calling qwest.

i can't get anything done because i'm fighting off sales pitches. i agree with you ..... it's just bad.

i imagine you have to deal with some fall-out from that.

i see that there's been a contract settlement. is it good for you?

I would not say it is good for us. There is hope that it will be voted no by the majority, of course, there are a lot of people that might see "raise" and go with the flow. However, an increase in health care costs, added to only 3%, 3%, 2.5% raises means that we all would be losing money to the health care alone. So anyone who never goes to the doctor, and rides their bike, or eating any food, or having a mortgage to worry about, should otherwise be in great shape.

Yeah, I feel the burn of the other department. It sucks, oh well, we trek on.
