I actually made Madd Martin a blanket a few years ago. It ended up being twice as long as my husband is tall and about as wide as he is tall. THAT I have photos of, so I'll have to let you check it out.

Ok I'll try to remember. Hopefully your blanket is getting some good use. MINE is stuffed in his cabinet at work.

well I didn't give it to him at work. I gave it to him in a hotel, so it had to go somewhere :p

plus I am not sure HE took it into his apartment, a part of me wonders if Gretchen did.

Cause they had taken a road trip

ok I gave Madd his Quilt in Cedar Falls. He was on a road trip with Gretchen and D. I gave it to him there. Gretchen would have driven back with him to Des Moines. She probably helped him unpack his stuff and put it into his apt.

As far as the one you made him, he IS Madd, you need to remind him CONSTANTLY to get things done. I am sure if you reminded him EVERY day for a bit he would take it home. He needs that sometimes, he probably has meant to but just forgot.

I think he forgot he even has it because I made it for him like 4 years ago. I found it while rummaging through his cabinet at work. I can't remember what I was looking for, but I was a little surprised to run into it.
I don't really care if he leaves it here or takes it home. It'll make it out of here when he finally quits.

I guess for me, I want people to USE their quilts I make them. And that is how I kind of gauge whether or not they actually like what I made them.

Well mine isn't really a quilt. It's a blanket that I knitted, and it's pretty thin and scratchy so probably wouldn't be real fun to use. I want him to like it but don't really care if he doesn't use it.
If I had one of your quilts I probably wouldn't use it cuz I wouldn't want it to get dirty :) I love homemade things.
