the other night when I was feeding him he was grabbing the spoon so I let him have it and he would reach out and hit it on the jar of food I was holding. He knows that the food is in the jar, the spoon gets it out, then goes in his mouth - I think he wants to do it himself It will be a while for that, as he is not only lacking the dexterity of motor function that he needs, but also the discipline to not fling food across the room But it is nice to know that he obviously knows those connections!

oh you already went online and looked? Good. It is still a bit unnerving. It's always going to be something making me worry :/ Well, he is sleeping in his swing right now - I will leave him there for now & you can take him to bed when you get home
