Well, I would like something down with the laundry, and propose the following, as I hope/think this is a good idea. Teamwork seems to motivate?

I say, one person do the actual washing and drying, making sure the clothes are done. The other, does the taking the clothes from the table of clothes, hangs them up, put them away, all that fun stuff. If you think this is a groovy idea, then great. I would not care which one I would do, I would just be happy to have some laundered order :D

I agree we need a system going between us. Laundry needs taken care of badly. I am usually motivated in my head to get it all taken care of, but have a severe lack of motivation to be hiking the stairs, especially back UP with the clothes.

How about I wash and mostly dry (you can put in dryer some nights when you come home). If you take them back upstairs I can put most of it away (obviously, I have no clue what to do with some of it - I think we both need to get rid of some stuff). And if when the dirty pile gets big enough you take it to the basement I will start washing again.

tough love, I feel that is what is required to make this work, and by that, I mean persistant reminders, for both of us, and neither of us get offended by it, as I know the both of us, and we both require reminders many times to get things done.

just a suggestion.

so your plan sounds like a plan to me
