mySQL upgrade?

Postby madd74 » Wed Apr 02, 2008 15:29:17

Work was done on the mySQL servers for my provider. It would appear, at this time, that speed has returned to Madd's World! Wee!!

if anyone notices any speed problem, please document this for me so I can track it, thanks.
I will have something here... at some point...

well, being optimistic, maybe it is because you are now working on your site...but it is still super slow for me here. I came over after seeing your lj entry, and the page took so long to load I wondered it if would time out. same with waiting for each page after clicking into topics, and waiting for the reply box - I guess now I just have to hope this posts!

while I am potentially bursting bubbles, I think our dtv box is dying (I've had to reset it 2 days in a row now) - I tried to go to chat to tell you, but you are not there.

And of course, as soon as I posted that, my navigation around your forum is indeed going much quicker! Getting back into here from the main page again was just two clicks and BAM! I was in. YAY - I hope it stays like this!!! =D>

(**the DTV box is still a concern for me**)

Any slower first time experiences are most likely due to cache issues with the browser you are using, as you experienced later with the faster load times.

(**the DTV box is not related to this thread or the board and talk of it should go elseware :D **)
