The Matrix 3/Matrix Revolutions **MASSIVE SPOILER**

Melissa left me a voice mail asking about the ending part of the movie, with the fight scene between Smith and Neo.

Well, when Smith takes him over, Neo is considered dead. He actually is dead in the real world, for the oracle states that Smith is basically the exact opposite of Neo. It would be like Ying and Yang, night and day, good and evil. If you remove the one, the other goes as well. Neo figured this out and allowed Smith to overtake him, thus "killing" Neo, and thus "killing" Smith, and all of his copies. Everyone else in the Matrix, including the programs, goes back to normal.

At least, this is how *I* saw the end of the movie.

Someone had mentioned something to me, and I do not remember who, about the whole Neo and Smith were the same. To that, I realized the importance of the "over exaggerated" battle scene between the two, since it was like they were putting more and more power into it.

Of course, since there are Bible references everywhere, it was simple to see that Neo had to give his life "to save the entire world", just as Christ died on the cross to save all of us.

Don't forget, Zion is also in the bible, as is Trinity and a few other things.

its interesting to put it into a Christian perspective

yes, but you are talking with someone who has read the bible, not all of it, but those are hte little things that I have not found.

I am more than certain that there are PLENTY of web sites that point out all the Matrix-Bible references in great detail

One of the other things included the ship, the 'Nebucadezzar' - or however you spell it. He was a biblical king who became mad and grew long nails and lived in a cave..

Thought you'd like to know.
