General rules apply here. An added rule, as a curtisy towards others, is the mentioning of spoliers in the subject of your post. If you are posting about a movie that is still in theaters to one month of just coming out in video, it is IMPORTANT that you put one of the following in the subject if you are "spoiling" plot.

POSS SPOLIER

or

SPOLIER

A poss spolier would include bits and pieces of a movie that may take away a small bit of plot from the movie. An example would be:

You are talking about the movie Seven. You state something in your post how the guy in bed freaked you out when he moved. That would be considered a poss spolier. Nothing big to the plot, however, then you expect him to not be dead and something to definitly happen when you (the reader) watches the movie in the future.

However, you might talk about how you knew he would going to shoot him since what he did to his wife. That is a massive plot twist that adds to the whole make-up to the movie.

IT IS COMMON CURTISY TO PROVIDE THIS WARNING TO THOSE WHO WANT THE ENTIRE THRILL OF THE MOVIE. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE IF WHAT YOU ARE POSTING IS CONSIDERED A SPOILER THEN PUT SPOILER IN THE SUBJECT REGARDLESS.

The reason I say movies from theater to about a month after video release is because that gives everyone plenty of time to go and rent/watch the movie. If they have ont by then, well... then they are not that interested in the first place, eh? Granted, you still CAN put spoiler in the subject, it is just not required.

THIS IS THE ONLY EXTRA MANDITORY RULE FOR THIS FORUM.
